SPEAKER: Charles E. (Chuck) Gulledge III, PE, CSI, MAI
Charles E. Gulledge III, PE, CSI, MAI is the past Chair of the Chapter Technology Transfer Committee, past Chair of Technical Committee 7.01: Integrated Building Design, ASHRAE Liaison to the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), member of the Handbook Committee, Chair of TRG4 – Sustainable Metrics, member of the Sustainable Certification Ad Hoc Committee, member of the Building Information Modeling and Interoperability Ad Hoc Committee, and a Distinguished Lecturer on the topics of MasterFormat 2004 and Integrated Building Design. Mr. Gulledge has received the Chapter Service Award, the Regional Award of Merit, and the Dan Mills Technical Award.
As the liaison to CSI, Mr. Gulledge has been intimately involved in the overhaul of the MasterFormat 2004 (MF04) specification organization structure. He currently serves as a MasterFormat Accredited Instructor (MAI) for CSI. He has trained classes of MAI instructors, conducted Webinars, co-presented two ASHRAE Learning Institute Short Courses on MF04, and presented multiple chapter programs for ASHRAE and CSI on the new MF04 impacts and Integrated Building Design.
Mr. Gulledge is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with the design/build firm of AC Corporation in
Greensboro, NC. A licensed professional engineer, he received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from
North Carolina State University.
He has over 19 years experience in the HVAC industry as a consulting engineer and four years experience as manager of project management for the City of Greensboro, NC.
