Please join us for the November Chapter meeting! Our meeting emphasis for the grassroots committees will be GGAC and Student Activities. We will also enjoy a discussion from the following speaker:

Open Control System or What’s in a Name

Speaker: Bryan T. Lampley, P.E. (speaker bio)

The goal of this presentation is to discuss the myths and the reality of open control systems and their implementation. Most open control discussions become a sting of buzz words, talk on protocols, controls terminology and three letter acronyms. This presentation is in pure English and is intended for the general consumption. Those attending the presentation can expect to leave with a better idea of the meaning of open systems, the terminology of controls, how to understand, specify and ensure compliance for open controls systems. Topic and presentation will appeal to Owners, Engineers and Contractors.

5:30pm-6:30pm : Cocktail Hour

Come network with other industry professionals during our cocktail hour. Registered attendees will enjoy complimentary drinks while they last, so come early!

6:30pm-8:00pm : Dinner and Speaker

The dinner meeting will include a gourmet dinner cooked just for us by the chef at Olmsted. We will do introductions and provide updates on the Atlanta chapter, followed by the main presentation.
