Mallory & Evans Service Company, an Atlanta-based mechanical service contractor, is seeking individual with the leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit to drive an existing small business unit to the next level of success. The ideal candid will have a strong background in project management, sales, and service in the commercial HVAC industry, with exceptionally strong expertise in building automation and controls.
This individual will work closely with our existing sales and service teams to sell controls systems and services to both existing and new clients. We need a hands-on professional, someone capable of trouble-shooting and performing service in the controls specialty, but also someone who can lead us to the next level in controls service for our customers.
Activities include:
- Lead the trouble-shooting, service, and installation of building automation and control systems by hands on performance
- Support the sales team in developing new controls business and building long-term customer relationships
- Propose and manage control system upgrade and retrofit projects from pre-design & pricing through installation & commissioning
- Grow the business through business development, networking, and innovation
- Lead the development and recruitment of a team of top talent controls technicians
- Assure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction
- Manage the profitability of the controls business unit
Candidates must have strong commercial HVAC/mechanical systems controls technical experience and knowledge. Specifically, the candidate should have JCI Metasys, Trane Tracer/Summitt, Carrier CCN i-Vu, and integration experience. Controls project management experience focused on high-rise, industrial, and other commercial buildings is required, specifically retrofit & upgrade projects. The ability to manage multiple projects, closely attend to detail in complex projects, and meet high quality standards is mandatory.
